MINNESOTA — The Minnesota Vikings have requested in-person second-round interviews with five candidates for their vacant general manager position following the firing of Kwesi Adofo-Mensah during the 2026 NFL offseason. The team has not set a timetable for the next phase of the hiring process.

The candidates advancing to the second round are Vikings interim general manager Rob Brzezinski, Denver Broncos assistant general manager Reed Burckhardt, Buffalo Bills assistant general manager Terrance Gray, Rams assistant general manager John McKay, and Seattle Seahawks assistant general manager Nolan Teasley. Brzezinski has been overseeing the Vikings' football operations on an interim basis since the dismissal of Adofo-Mensah, while the other four finalists each currently hold assistant general manager titles with their respective clubs.

The search is taking place after the conclusion of the 2026 NFL Draft, and no major offseason dates related to player movement remain on the league calendar. The Vikings have not indicated when a final hire will be announced or whether additional rounds of interviews will follow the upcoming in-person meetings with the five candidates.
