BUDAPEST — Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembele said he will be fit to play in the Champions League final against Arsenal at the Puskas Arena in Budapest on May 30. Dembele had been substituted after 27 minutes of PSG's 2-1 loss at Paris FC on Sunday, casting doubt over his involvement in the showpiece match.

"I'm doing very well. I had a slight scare against Paris FC but I'm fine and I'll be ready for the final." Dembele said following the defeat.

The forward, who has endured an injury-hit campaign this season, addressed his condition ahead of the meeting with the Premier League champions. "Will I be 100% for the final? Yes, yes, I think so, yes, I'll be ready. I have no doubt about it, I hope to be on the pitch on May 30." he said.

Dembele explained his decision to come off early at Paris FC in light of the fixtures ahead. "I've had so many minor scares or major injuries in my career, whether here at PSG or even before, especially with the big matches coming up, especially this final, I preferred to stop and above all not take any risks." he said.

Dembele has scored 19 goals in 39 appearances for PSG this season, including seven in the club's run to the Champions League final. PSG will attempt to defend their Champions League title when they face Arsenal at the Puskas Arena on May 30.
