MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota Lynx guard Brittney Sykes, the WNBA's leader in wins above replacement, will host the Toronto Tempo in Minneapolis at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday on WNBA League Pass. The Tempo are seeking a third-straight road win against the Lynx.

Sykes has added 1.1 wins above replacement so far this season, tied with A'ja Wilson for the league lead. ESPN Analytics evaluates players' impact on winning through net points and wins above replacement metrics, with net points giving a player credit for how much they contribute to, or detract from, their team's overall point differential both offensively and defensively. Wins above replacement applies net points to determine how many more wins a player contributes to their team compared to if they were replaced by an average player.

Sykes has scored more than 25 points in each of her last three games. She has recorded at least 25 points on a double-digit perfect free throw stat-line in consecutive games and is one of only two players to do so. She is also the third player in WNBA history to have a perfect free throw percentage on at least 15 attempts during the regular season.

Sykes leads the league with 10.4 free throw attempts per game and is making 90.4 percent of those attempts. She has added 25.8 net points through drawing fouls, the most in the league by almost eight points.

Chelsea Gray, a WNBA player, said Sykes has improved her ability to alter her pace on drives, injecting more craft into her drives rather than relying solely on speed and strength. Toronto forward Satou Sabally is listed as questionable with a reconditioning designation.
