SAN ANTONIO — Crime Stoppers of San Antonio is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to felony arrests in the May 29, 2021, shooting deaths of two women near the Medical Center. No suspects have been identified in the case, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
Arbranique Johnson, 24, and Roniqua Simms, 26, were riding in a white Mazda 6 with two other friends on Saturday, May 29, 2021, according to police. A suspect vehicle chased the Mazda 6 into a neighborhood along the 3300 block of Fallen Leaf Lane. Several occupants in the suspect vehicle then opened fire on the Mazda 6, killing Johnson and Simms, according to police. The two other occupants of the vehicle survived the shooting.
Police have not named any suspects in the case. The reward of up to $5,000 applies to information that leads to felony arrests in connection with the killings, according to Crime Stoppers of San Antonio. Johnson was 24 years old at the time of her death and Simms was 26. Both women were passengers in the Mazda 6 when the suspect vehicle opened fire, according to police. The shooting occurred in a residential neighborhood on the 3300 block of Fallen Leaf Lane.
