A woman believed to be in her 20s was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound, and a family member was detained at the scene, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
Deputies arrived at the residence following a call for service. Upon arrival, they discovered the woman with an apparent gunshot wound. The family member who was present at the home was taken into custody at the scene.
