FAIRFIELD — Authorities arrested 38-year-old Fairfield resident Amadeo Serrano-Huezo on charges of possession and distribution of child pornography after serving a search warrant at a home in the 2000 block of Ross Court. The warrant was served as part of a child sexual abuse material investigation.
Detectives with the Solano County Sheriff's Investigation Bureau, members of the Special Enforcement Team and the Vacaville Police Department carried out the search. Serrano-Huezo was taken into custody without incident.
He was booked into the Solano County Jail on charges including possession of child pornography and two counts related to distributing child pornography. His bail was set at $53,333.
Investigators requested a bail enhancement due to the severity and volume of images allegedly possessed, but the request was denied. Serrano-Huezo was released on bail about eight hours after his arrest.
The Solano County Sheriff's Investigation Bureau is the lead investigative agency on the case. The Special Enforcement Team and the Vacaville Police Department assisted in executing the warrant at the Ross Court address in Fairfield.
