LONDON — Kevin Spacey agreed an out-of-court settlement with three men who had sued him after accusing him of sexual assault. A judge at the High Court in London ordered that all further proceedings against Kevin Spacey be stayed on consent, setting the terms out in a March 13, 2026 order and confidential schedule.

The three men alleged that Spacey assaulted them between 2000 and 2013. Kevin Spacey denies all allegations of wrongdoing. No details of the settlement terms between Spacey and his accusers have been disclosed.

One claimant, known only as LNP, alleged that Spacey deliberately assaulted him on approximately 12 occasions between 2000 and 2005. A claimant identified as GHI alleged that he met Spacey through a workshop at London's Old Vic theatre and suffered psychiatric damage and financial loss from an alleged assault in 2008. Ruari Cannon, who waived his right to anonymity, alleged that Spacey groped him at a party after the press night of a performance of Tennessee Williams' play Sweet Bird of Youth at the Old Vic in 2013.

The civil claims against Kevin Spacey had been scheduled to go to trial at the High Court in late 2026. At a hearing in early 2026, the claimants' lawyers stated that evidence from seven other witnesses alleging similar abusive behaviour should be heard at trial. The judge did not make any order regarding costs in the proceedings.

Ruari Cannon participated in a Channel 4 documentary titled Spacey Unmasked in 2024. Two of the men who filed civil claims had previously given evidence against Spacey during his criminal trial in 2023.

Kevin Spacey was acquitted of nine sexual offense charges at a criminal trial in London in 2023. Kevin Spacey successfully defended a $40 million civil lawsuit in New York in 2022 brought by actor Anthony Rapp.
