BOERNE — Bravo announced the premiere of a new reality series titled "Secrets, Lies and Texas Wives," which is being filmed in Boerne, Texas. The network unveiled the show during NBCUniversal's 2026 Upfronts presentation in New York City.

The series will follow a close-knit group of Texas Hill Country women as they balance family life, rodeo, relationships and their social calendars. Network officials said viewers can expect drama that includes shifting friendships and forbidden romances. No cast members or premiere date have been announced.

In Boerne, a small city in the Texas Hill Country northwest of San Antonio, residents have begun reacting to the news that cameras are rolling in their community. Baron Wiley, a steward of Boerne Radio, 103.9FM, and a tenth-generation Texan who has lived in the city for the past six years, said the show's themes felt familiar.

"In my mind, as far as secrets, lies, and Texas wives, I can watch it, but I'm living it," Wiley said. He also noted the limits of privacy and community bonds in Boerne. "Everybody's got each other's backs. We don't compete against each other. We try to help each other in every way. And the Boerne bubble is kind of real," he said.

Wiley also referenced "There's Joey Sanders here at the Richter Tavern. She's a lot of fun," he said, pointing to residents he described as part of the local scene.

Joi Sanders, the wine director and event manager at Richter Cork and Keg and an ambassador with the Boerne Chamber, said she may have already crossed paths with members of the cast without realizing it. "I probably have seen some of them come in. I just didn't know if they were the reality stars yet," Sanders said.

She also noted the limits of privacy in a small town: "Yeah, it's hard to have a secret here. Boerne, people pretty much know all your stuff," she said.
