NEW YORK — Spotify launched a personalization feature called "Spotify 20: Your Party of the Year(s)," giving users a retrospective view of their listening history dating back to when they first joined the streaming service. The release caps a series of anniversary features marking 20 years since the company's founding, including a look at the most streamed songs and artists of all time.

The feature reveals the date a user first joined Spotify, the first song they ever streamed, their all-time most-streamed artist, and the total number of unique songs they have listened to since signing up. For longtime subscribers, the tool can surface listening data stretching back more than a decade.

Each user also receives a personalized playlist of their top 120 all-time tracks with individual play counts. The playlist can be saved directly to a user's library. Spotify's editorial team curated a selection of global playlists tied to the 20th anniversary in the same hub.

Party of the Year(s) is a twist on the company's annual Wrapped feature, which compiles each listener's top songs, artists, genres and podcasts from the previous 12 months, along with personality-style summaries and comparative statistics. Wrapped debuted in 2015 and evolved into its current shareable format around 2017.

The Party of the Year(s) feature is accessible only on mobile devices. Users can find it in the Spotify app by searching for "Spotify 20" or "Party of the Year(s)," or by visiting spotify.com/20 from a mobile browser. Spotify did not specify how long the feature will remain accessible.

Spotify was founded in 2006 and has grown to 751 million users and 290 million subscribers, with availability in more than 184 markets. The company has also built a podcast business and has invested in audiobooks.
