LONDON, KY. — The London Police Department issued a Golden Alert on Thursday for a missing 17-year-old named Aiden England. According to the department, England was last seen walking toward Corbin, Ky., around 8 p.m. on May 8.

England is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 155 pounds, according to the London Police Department. He has short, dark blond hair and blue eyes.

When he was last seen, England was wearing a black 2Pac shirt, long blue pants, white shoes with black writing and a knee-length black jacket, according to the London Police Department. Anyone with information on England's whereabouts is asked to contact the London-Laurel County 911 Center at 606-878-7000 or a local law enforcement agency.

A Golden Alert is a public notification issued by law enforcement when a minor or other at-risk individual is reported missing. The alert allows agencies to share descriptive information — including physical appearance and last known location — with the public in an effort to locate the missing person. England was 17 years old at the time he was reported missing, according to the London Police Department.

England was last seen on foot and heading in the direction of Corbin, which is located in Whitley County, southeast of London in Laurel County.
