NEW YORK CITY — The Tony Awards unveiled nominations for the 79th Annual Tony Awards on Tuesday, with Uzo Aduba and Darren Criss announcing top categories on CBS Mornings before the remaining nominations were revealed on the Tony Awards' YouTube channel and on TonyAwards.com. Organizers also announced that P!NK will host the ceremony at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday, June 7, at 8 p.m. ET.

The ceremony will air live on the CBS Television Network and stream on Paramount+. A selection of categories was announced beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET on CBS Mornings, followed by additional categories announced on the Tony Awards' official YouTube channel at 9:00 a.m. ET.

"It is the honor of an entire lifetime to host a night celebrating the literal hardest working people in showbiz," P!NK said.

The nominees for Best Play are The Balusters, Giant, Liberation, Little Bear and Ridge Road. The nominees for Best Musical are The Lost Boys, Schmigadoon!, Titanique and Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York).

The nominees for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play are Rose Byrne for Fallen Angels, Carrie Coon for Bug, Susannah Flood for Liberation, Lesley Manville for Oedipus and Kelli O'Hara for Fallen Angels. The nominees for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play are Will Harrison for Punch, Nathan Lane for Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman, John Lithgow for Giant, Daniel Radcliffe for Every Brilliant Thing and Mark Strong for Oedipus.

The nominees for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical are Sara Chase for Schmigadoon!, Stephanie Hsu for Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show, Caissie Levy for Ragtime, Marla Mindelle for Titanique and Christiani Pitts for Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York). The nominees for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical are Nicholas Christopher for Chess, Luke Evans for Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show, Joshua Henry for Ragtime, Sam Tutty for Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) and Brandon Uranowitz for Ragtime.

The eligibility cut-off for the 2025-2026 Broadway season was April 26, 2026. The Tony Awards are presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. Raj Kapoor, Sarah Levine Hall and Jack Sussman will serve as executive producers for the ceremony. The nominating committee consists of 64 members who serve staggered three-year terms and is composed of professionals from disciplines including acting, directing, producing, design and education.
