Singer Zayn Malik canceled all U.S. dates of his upcoming KONNAKOL Tour following hospitalization for an unspecified illness. Both legs of the American tour, scheduled for June/July and November, were canceled entirely, with refunds promised to ticket buyers.

Malik was admitted to a hospital on the day of his album release for an unspecified condition. He released the album Konnakol on April 17, 2026.

"To my fans: Thank you so much for all the support and love you've shown me on the album release and more importantly your love, prayers, and well wishes for my health. I've felt it, and it's meant the world. I've been at home recovering and I'm doing well and will be better and stronger than before," Malik wrote in an Instagram Story. In the same post, he added: "I've had to take another look at my schedule for the months ahead and have to reduce the number of shows on the KONNAKOL Tour. I want to make sure I still get out and see as many of you as I possibly can."

At the time of his hospitalization, Malik posted a separate message on Instagram: "To my fans – Thank you to all of you for your love & support now & always. Heartbroken that I can't see you all this week, I wouldn't be in the place I am today without you guys and am so thankful for your understanding."

The American leg of the KONNAKOL Tour was set to begin on July 12. Malik's first scheduled U.S. appearance would have been on July 19 in Philadelphia, followed by stops in Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Chicago, Indianapolis, Nashville, Phoenix, San Diego, and San Francisco. He had also been set to celebrate his album release with several stops at record stores across the U.S. East Coast, but those appearances were canceled.

According to the new itinerary, Malik will still perform some previously scheduled international dates throughout the year. The KONNAKOL Tour is scheduled to begin on May 23 at London's O2 arena, with stops in Manchester, Mexico City, Buenos Aires, and Santiago, before concluding in Lima, Peru, in October. Dates for shows in the UK and Mexico later this month remain listed on Malik's website. He had gigs scheduled in Europe and Mexico in the two months preceding the planned July 12 start of the American tour, and most recently performed a seven-night residency in Las Vegas.
