President Donald Trump's approval rating stands at 34 percent, the lowest recorded since he returned to the White House, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted April 24-27.

The survey of 1,014 U.S. adults found that only 22 percent of respondents backed Trump's performance on the cost of living.

The poll, which ran from April 24 through April 27, placed Trump's overall approval at 34 percent. The figure represents the lowest approval rating Trump has received since beginning his current term in the White House.

The Reuters/Ipsos survey canvassed 1,014 U.S. adults on Trump's performance across several areas. On the cost of living, 22 percent of those surveyed said they backed his performance, according to the poll. The cost-of-living figure was among the results recorded in the April 24-27 survey of 1,014 adults.
