GREENWICH, CONNECTICUT — WIN expanded its family-building benefits management offerings to include programs for maternity, parenting, healthy aging, and caregiving. The Greenwich, Connecticut-based company reported growth in the number of clients offering fertility, egg freezing, and surrogacy and adoption benefits over the past five years.
WIN partners with companies to provide employees access to family-building and well-being services. The company also works with employers, health plans, and government entities to offer benefits from preconception through fertility as well as services for maternity, parenting, healthy aging, and caregiving.
Initially, WIN's services included IVF, intrauterine insemination, and egg and sperm freezing benefits. WIN later expanded its services to include a maternity program that offers doula support, maternity education, lactation support, and return-to-work support.
The company launched WINkid, a program combining parenting support and virtual pediatric care. WIN also launched WINPowerPause, a healthy aging support program for perimenopause, menopause, and andropause, and WINCares, a support program for child and elder caregiving.
Over the past five years, the number of WIN's clients offering fertility benefits grew by 153%. Over the same period, the number of WIN's clients offering surrogacy and adoption benefits increased by 76%, and the number offering egg freezing benefits rose by 80%.
During the past five years, 80% of WIN's contracts were with new clients. WIN's clients include organizations such as Hertz, Disney, Becton Dickinson, and the Seattle Fire Department.
WIN initially focused on financial services and technology companies but later expanded into education, energy, and retail industries. About two years ago, WIN removed "fertility" from its company name to reflect its broader scope of services.
WIN maintains a national network of reproductive endocrinologists, nurse advocates, urologists, doulas, and child development coaches. WIN employs a team of nurse care advocates who guide members through their family-building and fertility processes by helping them understand their options, connecting them with providers, tracking benefit usage, and navigating their healthcare journeys.
WIN uses data and artificial intelligence to make personalized care recommendations and improve clinical outcomes and patient experience. "As a physician, I'm proud to say we've helped over 900,000 families on their family-building and fertility journeys," said Roger Shedlin, founder and CEO of WIN.
WIN has been in operation for about 30 years and operates in all 50 states and several countries.
