GAZA STRIP — Israeli forces killed at least 11 Palestinians, including two children, in separate air and drone strikes across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday. The attacks struck multiple locations in Gaza City and the northern part of the territory, leaving additional people wounded, some in critical condition.

In one of the day's incidents, Israeli warplanes targeted a police vehicle in the city centre of Gaza City, killing four people, including a police officer and a three-year-old child, a spokesperson said. The airstrike also injured at least nine bystanders, some critically, according to a statement.

On Tuesday evening, an Israeli strike killed several people near an intersection in the Shati refugee camp in Gaza City, a spokesperson said. Medical staff at Al-Shifa Hospital confirmed receiving five bodies from the attack, describing it as an Israeli drone bombing that involved two missiles striking a group of people gathered in the camp. The strike hit near a cafe and wounded several additional people, according to health officials.

Elsewhere in the northern Gaza Strip, a 14-year-old was among those killed in Israeli strikes on Tuesday. Nine-year-old Ritaj Rihan was also among the children killed in strikes across the territory. In a separate incident earlier in the day, another person was killed by Israeli fire in the northern Beit Lahiya area, a spokesperson said.

A ceasefire between Israel and Hamas came into effect on Oct. 10, 2025. Since that ceasefire began, Israeli forces have killed almost 760 Palestinians and injured 2,111 others in Israeli attacks, the Gaza Ministry of Health said. Since the start of the war on Oct. 7, 2023, a total of 72,336 people have been killed by Israeli forces, the ministry said.

No Israeli military statement on Tuesday's strikes was immediately available.
