DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES — Iran fired on targets across the Middle East early Friday, including a drone attack on Kuwait's Mina al-Ahmadi oil refinery that sparked multiple blazes at the petroleum complex.
State-run Kuwait Petroleum Corp. said firefighters were working to control several blazes at the refinery following the drone strike.
Sirens sounded in Bahrain warning of Iranian attacks. Israel also reported incoming missiles.
Iran's strikes hit energy infrastructure in the Gulf region. No immediate reports on casualties from the various strikes were available as the situation continued to develop early Friday.
