Officers arrived at the scene and provided aid until Seattle Fire Department medics arrived. The woman was transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition, where she was pronounced deceased after dying from her injuries.

A 42-year-old woman was found fatally shot inside a home in the Near West Side of Chicago. The body was discovered around midnight Saturday in the 2100 block of West Jackson Boulevard. The woman was shot several times.

The victim was taken to Stroger Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. No one has been arrested in connection with the Near West Side shooting.
