GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA — Hayden Panettiere was found unresponsive at her apartment in Greenville, South Carolina, on Sunday. The actress died at the age of 36.

An acquaintance called 911 at 1:51 p.m. to report an unidentified female in cardiac arrest. Emergency responders attempted to resuscitate Panettiere with advanced cardiac life support and chest compressions. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:32 p.m.
