NEW YORK — Ronald Lauder made a $5,000 contribution to the Security Is Strength PAC in January 2026, marking his most recent recorded political donation. The American businessman and art collector has shifted from multi-million dollar commitments to conservative causes to this modest sum during personal financial constraints.

Lauder donated $5 million to MAGA Inc. in 2025, a significant decrease from previous giving levels. He contributed more than $13 million to Safe Together New York Inc. between 2020 and 2022. Two years prior to January 2026, he donated $250,000 to the Truth & Courage PAC.

The billionaire heir to Estée Lauder gave $200,000 to Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign. He also donated $1 million to a super PAC opposing Democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani’s mayoral campaign. "Look, when I first started, no one had money, so I paid the money," Lauder said.
