A woman identified as Isabel alleged that Leto sexually assaulted her in a motel bathroom in 2002 when she was 17. Isabel said she was 17 when she met the actor at a hotel in Las Vegas, where he kissed her and used her hand to masturbate.

A woman identified as Clara alleged that she had sex with Leto in California in 2006 when she was 17 and he was 34. Clara alleged that Leto asked her to call him "daddy" and pretend to be a little girl during their encounter. She also alleged that he shrugged off a conversation about California's age of consent being 18.

A woman identified as Alex alleged that Leto threatened her with sexual assault in a hotel room in 2013 when she was 19. Ex-model Alex said her agency was invited to a Thirty Seconds to Mars concert at London's O2 arena in 2013. Alex alleged that she told Leto she was 17, and he replied, Age is just a number, and anyway, we're in Europe.

A woman identified as Etta alleged that Leto made repeated sexually explicit phone calls to her and suggested they have sex when she was 16. Etta alleged that she was sent a non-disclosure agreement by Leto two years after he sent her explicit sexual emails, which she refused to sign. Four additional women alleged in the documentary that they received strange and often sexually explicit phone calls from Leto when they were younger.

A woman alleged that when she was 14, Leto instructed a security guard to take her backstage at a music festival after making a lewd comment about her chest. The BBC corroborated a number of the women's accounts with friends and family who were told about the encounters at the time. The broadcaster stated it had seen pictures and messages that supported the women's accounts in some cases.

Two men who worked with Leto's band Thirty Seconds to Mars told the documentary that staff felt uncomfortable about his interactions with teenage girls. A former band employee said, "I think everyone thought the age gap was way too big." A former crew member identified as Brad said Thirty Seconds to Mars crew called local modeling agencies to offer female models free VIP tickets. Leto is the lead singer of the alternative rock band.

An alleged victim said, "This was 25 years ago… he has gotten away with it." Leto did not respond to the BBC's attempts to seek comment for its documentary. No criminal charges have ever been filed against him.
