"I actually found it much easier than writing songs about myself. Having the permission to be silly and bratty was so freeing," Hart said.

Hart composed the music for the previous two seasons of "Interview with the Vampire" before taking on a more central role in "The Vampire Lestat." His broader portfolio includes composing music for the films "A Ghost Story" and "Mother Mary." Hart also composed the music for the 2013 film "Ain't Them Bodies Saints" and has since scored multiple films and TV shows, including "The Green Knight," "Pete's Dragon," and "Mother Mary." He has a history of composing for popular podcasts, including "S Town." The album "The Failures" was released on multiple digital platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music, with Hart as the composer and Reid as the vocalist.
