NASHVILLE, TENN. — Charles Sueing assumed the presidency of the Rotary Club of Nashville on July 1, 2026, for the 2026–2027 term. The leadership transition marks the latest chapter for a club founded in 1914 that now includes nearly 500 business and community leaders.

Sueing is the president and CEO of Sueing Insurance Agency and previously served as Chairman of the Small Business Council at the Nashville Chamber. He succeeds Ken Youngstead, a principal at accounting firm Baker Tilly, who served as the club’s immediate past president. “As a Tennessee native and proud Rotarian, I’m honored to lead this club of passionate business and community leaders who are making a lasting impact on our city and region,” Sueing said. He added, “It is no surprise the Nashville Rotary Club is one of the largest in the world, and I look forward to strengthening that momentum working side-by-side with our members to serve our community.”

Youngstead expressed confidence in Sueing’s leadership, stating, “Charles deeply appreciates and understands the uniqueness of our Club and will bring a new perspective to our mission.” Youngstead also reflected on his own term, saying, “I am grateful I had the chance to lead this thriving organization for the past year and look forward to what’s in store this next year and for years to come.”

Lee Molette II of Frank Stanton Developers, LLC, serves as President-Elect for the 2026–2027 term. Craig Cook of Equitas Strategic Partners holds the role of Secretary/Treasurer, while Joya Dinwiddie of Old National Bank chairs the Finance Committee. Joel Abramson of the Adventure Science Center is the Sergeant-at-Arms, and Marquita Qualls of Entropia Consulting serves as Grants Chair.

The club’s Board of Directors for the term includes Sunny Bray, Dave Briggs, Leisa Gill, Lydia Lenker, Kristine LaLonde, Karen Johnson, Clark Spoden, Kelly O’Connor, Tim Ozgener, Jennifer Brantley, Joyce Searcy, Brian Taylor, and Nathan Freeman. The President of the Rotaract Club of Nashville also serves as an ex officio board member. The club operates under the 2026–2027 theme “Connect • Grow • Serve,” which emphasizes expanding membership, strengthening relationships, and community service.

The Rotary Club of Nashville is the fifth-largest Rotary club worldwide within Rotary International, which comprises more than 35,000 clubs and 1.2 million members globally. The club’s leadership structure and annual theme guide its local service initiatives and influence its role in Nashville’s civic and business landscape.
