Jonathan Clemente, a military veteran who lives on Dhaka View, said his home sustained water damage during both the June 2025 flooding and the July 2026 event. He purchased a dining room table three weeks prior to July 13, 2026, which remained in its box and was damaged by the flood. Clemente also stated that a new refrigerator, still in its wrapping, was destroyed by the flood. "I’ve been through this already," he said. "Cause I can’t really fall asleep, and I’m just worried about the rain." He added, "Now the rain that’s coming the next four days and (Monday) night, it might flood again."

Miguel Simmons, another Dhaka View resident, said his home did not sustain serious interior damage from the July 2026 flooding, but his landscaping was uprooted and ruined. "Destroyed, and I need to repair it all the time," Simmons said. He also stated that his home's foundation appears to have shifted, causing interior doors to swing open after being shut. Simmons noted that neighbors actively warn potential homebuyers about the area’s recurring flooding. "The other neighbors tell them, ‘No, no, no, because it’s flooding," he said.

The City of San Antonio Public Works Department mowed the area and performed regrading of a channel on Dhaka View and Heath Circle in summer 2025. The department stated it has been monitoring the Dhaka View area since summer 2025. Work is scheduled to begin in mid-to-late 2027 on a project to reduce flooding in the Lower French Creek drainage area, which includes Dhaka View. That project is part of a $13 million bond project approved in 2022.
