The Center for Jewish Impact, the SASA Setton organization, the Israeli Foreign Ministry, and the Israeli Embassy in Ukraine have partnered to establish education centers for children in Ukrainian hospitals. These new centers will be located in children's hospitals within Chernivtsi and Bila Tserkva.

The initiative aims to provide educational, emotional, and social support for children during their hospital stays. The new facilities will offer classrooms, technology and robotics resources, a library, games, and spaces for art and other creative activities. The project intends to allow injured children to continue learning, creating, playing, and receiving emotional support while hospitalized.

The organizations involved plan to provide local staff with professional training and ongoing guidance. The educational center at Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon, Israel, will offer professional support for the Chernivtsi facility, including staff training and an exchange of expertise. Earlier, a similar educational center opened in Odesa.

Organizers are considering expanding this initiative to additional parts of Ukraine. Since the outbreak of the Ukraine-Russia War, Israel has focused its support on humanitarian aid, medical and rehabilitation assistance, and civilian and educational programs. The mission of SASA Setton is "to ensure that hospitalization is not a barrier to the societal and educational advancement of children."

Michael Brodsky, the Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine, stated, "Israel attaches great importance to assisting Ukraine, not only in responding to the immediate challenges of the war, but also in strengthening the resilience of the younger generation." He added, "The establishment of educational centers for hospitalized children reflects Israel's ability to share the knowledge and experience it has accumulated and turn them into tangible assistance on the ground." Robert Singer, Chairman of the Center for Jewish Impact and the SASA Setton organization, said, "This initiative reflects our commitment to partnership with the Ukrainian people." Singer also stated, "Through the knowledge and experience accumulated in Israel in the field of education for hospitalized children, we are bringing the children of Ukraine not only a learning environment, but also hope, resilience, and a sense of childhood during a complex period."
