PORTAGE PARK — A 13-year-old boy sustained a leg injury in a drive-by shooting in Chicago's Portage Park neighborhood. Police responded to a report of a person shot on the 6000-block of West Montrose Avenue just after 8 p.m.

According to authorities, a dark-colored SUV passed the victim, and an occupant of the vehicle discharged a firearm, striking the boy. Emergency services transported the victim to Lutheran General Hospital, where he is listed in good condition.
