OSWEGO, ILLINOIS — An anonymous man from the Chicagoland area claimed a $1.3 million jackpot in the Illinois Lottery Lucky Day Lotto draw on June 11, 2026. He purchased a Quick Pick ticket for the lottery game.

The winning ticket was bought at a BP gas station located at 2791 U.S. Highway 34 in Oswego, Illinois. The winning numbers for the June 11 draw were 1, 13, 19, 27, and 35.

The winner stated he stopped at the store for a drink and decided to purchase a lottery ticket. "I just stopped by the store for a drink and thought, 'Why not?,'" the winner said. "I played a Quick Pick, and it turned out to be a lucky day."

He described his initial reaction to the win. "I didn't believe it at first — I asked myself, 'Am I dreaming?,'" he said. "Once I scanned the ticket and realized the numbers matched, reality set in."

The man had previously won a $45,000 prize in the same lottery game approximately 15 years ago when it was known as Little Lotto. He plans to use his current winnings to purchase a new home for his family and to fund his and his wife's retirement. The BP gas station in Oswego that sold the winning ticket received a $13,000 bonus, which represents 1% of the total jackpot. Lucky Day Lotto is an Illinois-only draw game, with jackpots starting at $100,000, and features two drawings per day.
