BRUSSELS — The Antwerp World Diamond Center presented a gold ring adorned with 321 diamonds, 56 sapphires, 13 emeralds, and six rubies to Bill White, the U.S. ambassador to Belgium, on July 3, 2026. The presentation occurred during an event in Brussels marking America's 250th birthday.

The ring features diamonds arranged to spell two interlocking T's next to the Stars and Stripes. It also displays the years 1776 and 2026, and the phrase "250 YEARS USA" etched in 18-karat gold. Diamonds frame the numbers 45 and 47 in the shape of the Superman logo, and a diamond-winged eagle carrying a ruby shield and clutching an olive branch of emeralds is also part of the design. The ring's interior is engraved with the phrase "Crafted in Antwerp for Donald John Trump."

Isidore Mörsel, president of the Antwerp World Diamond Center, gifted the ring on behalf of the Antwerp diamond community. David Gotlib, an Antwerp-based jeweler, forged the ring. In a prerecorded video message played during the event, President Donald Trump thanked the organization. "A very special thank you to my friends from Antwerp for the magnificent Freedom 250 ring," Trump said.

Mörsel stated the ring symbolized enduring partnerships. "May this ring serve as a lasting reminder that true partnership like the finest natural diamonds are formed under pressure, endure the test of time, and shine brightest when built on trust," Mörsel said.

A White House official stated that the ring has not yet been presented to President Trump. Ambassador White previously posted a photo of himself wearing the ring and giving a thumbs-up on social media, which he later deleted. He stated he raised over $5.5 million for the 250th anniversary event through corporate sponsors, including Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Intel, Google, Meta, Leonidas, and Ferrero. Alexis Wilkins sang the U.S. national anthem for more than 8,000 attendees at the event.

Two independent jewelers estimated the ring's value to be between $25,000 and $35,000. Jewelry consultant Alexander Levinson calculated the cost at $25,928, while jeweler David Saad priced it between $33,000 and $35,000.
