U.K. — The Trump Mobile T1 phone did not connect to LTE or 5G networks in the United Kingdom during initial testing on July 3, 2026, though the device was able to make voice calls using a U.K. SIM card. The fingerprint sensor functioned during setup, and the device displayed a February Android security update as the latest available.

Dominic Preston, a news editor, reported his experience with the phone. "I'm based in the UK though, and so far the Trump phone isn't playing nicely with my British SIM card — I can make phone calls just fine, but it won't connect to LTE or 5G," Preston said. He noted that the device ships with preinstalled Truth Social software.

Preston described the physical condition of the unit. "My first impression was how oddly tacky it is," he said, adding that the gold-colored plastic back panel "has a slightly sticky sheen to it, and has already picked up plenty of dust and fingerprints in just an hour or two." He also stated, "My phone has a tiny scratch in one corner that was there before I even took it out of the box."
