BOYLE HEIGHTS — Mobile health clinics began operations on July 1, 2026, in the Boyle Heights area of Los Angeles. The clinics were established to provide health services following a fire at a cold food storage warehouse in the area.

The mobile health clinics represent a city partnership with St. John's Community Health, AltaMed, and Clínica Romero. No appointments are required for these services, which include respiratory health screenings, oxygen level checks, asthma and breathing assessments, blood pressure and basic health screenings, and eye and skin irritation evaluations. The clinics also offer health education regarding smoke exposure, mental health support, care navigation and referrals, and connections to ongoing primary care.

On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, mobile health clinics were scheduled at Ruben Salazar Park, located at 3864 Whittier Blvd., Los Angeles, operating from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Additional clinics were held that day at the Community Resource Center, Lou Costello Jr. Recreation Center, 3141 E. Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Clínica Romero Mobile Health Clinic was available at 3900 E. Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
