President Donald Trump received $77,808 in pension funds from the Screen Actors Guild in 2025 and $8,724 from the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), according to his mandatory financial disclosure for that year. The Screen Actors Guild payment amounted to approximately $6,484 per month.

Trump became eligible for the Screen Actors Guild pension in 1992, the same year he had a cameo in the film Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. He originally joined the Screen Actors Guild in 1989 and became a member of AFTRA in 1989. His film debut was in Ghosts Can't Do It.

In addition to these pension payments, the 2025 disclosure reported residuals worth less than $201 each for appearances on several programs, including Zoolander, The Nanny, Sex & the City, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, the Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Little Rascals.

The 2025 disclosure reported more than $2.2 billion in total income, including $1.4 billion attributed to cryptocurrency ventures. Prior to his second presidential term in 2024, Trump disclosed at least $622 million in income. He also earned $427 million from the reality program The Apprentice, which aired from 2004 to 2015. In 2024, Trump reportedly received $102,408 in pension funds from SAG-AFTRA.

In 2021, Trump resigned from the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA). The union had threatened to expel him due to his involvement in the January 6 Capitol insurrection and voted that there was probable cause he violated the union's membership terms through his role on that date.

In his resignation letter to the guild, Trump wrote, "I no longer wish to be associated with your union." He also stated, "You have done nothing for me." He concluded the letter by writing, "As such, this letter is to inform you of my immediate resignation from SAG-AFTRA," and added, "Who cares!" White House deputy press secretary Anna Kelly stated that neither Trump nor his family has or will engage in conflicts of interest.
