JUPITER ISLAND, FLORIDA — Tiger Woods flipped his Range Rover on a residential street on Jupiter Island, Florida, on Friday. The 15-time major champion is facing charges of driving under the influence, refusing a urine test, and property damage.

Woods passed a breathalyzer test for alcohol following the crash.

This marks the latest in a series of vehicle incidents involving Woods. In 2009, he crashed his vehicle after hitting a hydrant and a tree. In 2017, he was convicted of reckless driving. In 2021, he had a high-speed crash that involved no other vehicle.

Woods has been a player director on the PGA Tour Policy Board since August 2023 and has served as vice chairman of the PGA Tour Enterprises board for two years. The PGA Tour introduced a special rule making Woods eligible for all of its Signature Events.

Since 2020, Woods has completed all four rounds in only four tournaments. He is currently ranked world number 3736.

Woods has appeared on eight Ryder Cup teams and was on the winning side only once. He did not serve as captain of the 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup team.
