GRAPEVINE, TEXAS — The Conservative Political Action Conference took place last week in a convention center near Dallas, Texas. President Donald Trump did not attend the Conservative Political Action Conference for the first time in a decade.

Attendees at the Conservative Political Action Conference expressed concern over the possibility of a ground invasion of Iran by President Trump.

"I counseled as loud as possible against doing this in the first place. You will see imagery of burning American warships in the next couple of weeks. And I don't think people are really prepared for that," said Erik Prince, former Blackwater CEO.

"The American people have to understand we can't stop now that we've started," said Jason Redman, former Navy SEAL.

"I want President Trump to have every diplomatic tool at his disposal, and I do trust he knows a great deal more than I do, but a ground invasion of Iran will make our country poorer and less safe," said Matt Gaetz, former U.S. congressman.
