STAMFORD — Jackson Alcide was arrested on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, in connection with two counts of illegal transfer of a firearm and one count of altering identification marks on a firearm. Stamford detectives took Alcide into custody in Danbury and transported him to Stamford after an arrest warrant was approved on Tuesday.

Officers in Danbury had previously informed Stamford detectives that Alcide was in their custody on unrelated narcotics charges. The arrest followed an investigation that began when Detective Justin Rosado received information on January 9 that two firearms were stored in a Forest Street apartment.

DNA testing results later showed Alcide's DNA on the seized firearms. Law enforcement seized a Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9 mm handgun that had an obliterated serial number and a Smith & Wesson .38 Special revolver loaded with five rounds. Other items seized included a Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9 mm handgun magazine, 24 rounds of 9 mm ammunition, and 3 rounds of .380 ammunition.

Alcide was issued a $250,000 bond. According to court documents, he remained in custody. Alcide is scheduled to appear at state Superior Court in Stamford on July 23.
