Google released a standalone mobile app for Google Finance. The company also announced that its updated AI-powered Google Finance web experience is exiting beta and rolling out globally.

The Google Finance mobile app is currently exclusive to Android devices and is available globally in the Play Store. Google plans to release an iOS version of the Google Finance app. Google stated the iOS version will launch in the coming months.

The Android app allows users to create watchlists, view real-time market data, and access live financial news. It includes an AI-powered "Key Moments" feature that explains stock price changes, a feature that launched in the Google Finance web interface in May. The app also features an AI research tool accessible via an "Ask" button and a History section for past chats.

The web experience now includes global portfolio functionality. Users can view their existing Google Finance portfolios or create new ones by uploading CSV or PDF files. Portfolios can also be created by describing investments to the platform's chatbot. The chatbot can access user portfolio data to answer questions. The web experience also offers an AI-powered research tool that can send periodic updates, and users can set up tasks using natural-language prompts.

Google Finance will add portfolio and task features to the mobile app in the coming months. Google stated, "We plan to adapt more features from the Google Finance website to the app over time." Additional features, such as the ability to listen to live earnings calls, are also planned for the Google Finance app.
