Dubai police have charged 23-year-old British national Brooke George from Kent with premeditated murder in connection with the death of a 26-year-old man in June 2024. Radha Stirling, CEO of Detained in Dubai, stated, "This case raises serious concerns about violence against women, the right to self defence, due process and the treatment of British nationals detained overseas." Detained in Dubai is advocating for George to receive a fair trial and be released on bail pending investigation.
