LONDON — Rubrik announced Rubrik Annapurna and the integration of Rubrik Agent Cloud with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore at the Rubrik FORWARD EMEA conference in London on June 9, 2026. The company introduced these developments to address cybersecurity risks related to agentic AI.

Rubrik Annapurna was introduced to create an AI-ready unstructured data layer for enterprises. On the same day, Rubrik launched Rubrik Agent Cloud for Anthropic's Claude Code and Claude Cowork, which feature runtime security. Additionally, the company introduced an AI agentic layer across its Rubrik Security Cloud and Rubrik Agent Cloud.

Rubrik research on AI agents and cybersecurity risks was presented during the conference. A global survey of more than 800 decision-makers, conducted by Economist Enterprise and supported by Rubrik, found that 98% of organizations have experienced a disruptive AI agent-related incident. The survey also found that 90% of organizations deploy AI agents faster than their security teams can govern them, and two-thirds lack full visibility into these agents.

The survey further revealed that only 30% of organizations possess robust rollback capabilities for AI agents. Manoj Saxena, Founder of Trustwise, who helped build IBM Watson, commented on the shift in AI. "Agentic AI has crossed from generating output to taking action, which means the cost of failure is no longer a bad answer — it's a financial, legal, or operational incident," Saxena said. He added, "The fix isn't better models. It's a vendor-neutral control layer that intercepts, evaluates, and governs every agent action in milliseconds."

Rubrik gained access to Anthropic Mythos Research Preview via Project Glasswing on June 2, 2026. On June 17, 2026, Rubrik announced the planned integration of Rubrik Agent Cloud with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore.
