LOS ANGELES — Phoebe Bridgers announced her third full-length solo album, "Lost Weekend," on June 24, 2026. The album is scheduled for release on August 14, 2026, through Dead Oceans.

Bridgers will commence the Lost Tour on September 14, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Alex G is slated to open for Bridgers on specific dates during the tour, while Isaac Wood and Anaïs are scheduled as openers for selected European dates.

Before the album announcement, Bridgers performed new material during a series of phone-free concerts. At a show at Madison Square Garden in New York on June 4, 2026, the singer-songwriter asked attendees not to post recordings online, stating, "If any of you stuck an Apple Watch up your ass to record this, please don't post it on the internet." She added, "I'm trusting you."

Gregory Crewdson photographed the announcement image used for the album. In an interview, Bridgers stated that John Lennon is the "Easily best Beatle." She also said Lennon has been an icon for heroes such as Elliott Smith and Daniel Johnston.

Bridgers released her solo album "Punisher" in 2020. She is also a member of the group Boygenius, alongside Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus, which released the album "The Record" in 2023. In 2024, Bridgers won four Grammy Awards, with three of these recognized for her contributions to Boygenius and one for her collaboration with SZA on the song "Ghost in the Machine." Bridgers appeared on the cover of Variety in 2021, and Boygenius was honored at Variety's Hitmakers event in 2023.
