WASHINGTON — Fairshake-backed candidates won primaries in Maryland, Utah, and New York on Tuesday. Maryland state Del. Adrian Boafo won the Democratic primary to replace Rep. Steny Hoyer. Rep. Christian Menefee won the Texas Democratic primary against Rep. Al Green. Rep. Barry Moore won the Alabama GOP Senate primary.

A Fairshake-affiliated PAC spent more than $5.5 million to support Boafo. A Fairshake PAC spent more than $6 million to support Menefee and oppose Green. Fairshake spent more than $12 million on Moore's campaign. Fairshake has a record of 38 wins and 2 losses across the first 40 congressional races it spent on in 2026.

Fairshake is comprised of three affiliated super PACs: Fairshake, Defend American Jobs, and Protect Progress. The organization had more than $135 million on hand at the beginning of the month. Most of the funding comes from Coinbase, Ripple, and Andreessen Horowitz. Fairshake spokesperson Geoff Vetter said in a statement, "At this critical time for America's global leadership, we're proud of our results to help build a durable and growing crypto-knowledgeable caucus to deliver responsible regulation that protects consumers and innovators." Vetter added, "We did our part to move Adrian Boafo from fifth place to the halls of Congress."

In Illinois, Fairshake spent more than $10 million opposing Senate hopeful Juliana Stratton, who won her Democratic primary. The organization also spent more than $2 million against state Rep. La Shawn Ford, who won his Democratic primary. Rep. Sean Casten said he is not sure that Fairshake's money really mattered in the Illinois primaries. Casten said, "I think a lot of times, they're looking for a win that they can claim as theirs." He also stated, "It's not always necessarily a win where they were dispositive."

Fairshake did not spend against Rep. Brad Sherman in his primary challenge in Los Angeles. Sherman said, "These groups are institutions — they like a good batting average." He added, "And if you want a good batting average, then you limit the number of times that you go to bat against Major League pitching." A Fairshake-linked PAC spent more than $400,000 in the primary race for House Financial Services Chair French Hill. Another Fairshake-linked PAC spent more than $400,000 in the primary race for Sen. Mike Rounds. Fairshake spent more than $40 million to help defeat Sherrod Brown in 2024.
