SEATTLE — Cal Raleigh returned to the Seattle Mariners lineup on Tuesday and hit a two-run single in the seventh inning. The Mariners defeated the Baltimore Orioles 3-1 on Tuesday night.

Raleigh's single against reliever Grant Wolfram in the bottom of the seventh inning allowed Victor Robles and Colt Emerson to score. Logan Gilbert pitched seven innings for Seattle, allowing three hits and one run while recording 10 strikeouts.

Orioles starter Brandon Young allowed four hits and three runs over six innings. Logan Gilbert hit Pete Alonso with a pitch to begin the seventh inning. Taylor Ward hit a leadoff double for Baltimore in the first inning. Samuel Basallo hit a two-out RBI single for Baltimore in the first inning.

Julio Rodríguez recorded an RBI single for Seattle. Eduard Bazardo pitched a scoreless eighth inning for Seattle, and Andrés Muñoz pitched the ninth inning for Seattle, allowing one hit and earning his 11th save of the season.

J.P. Crawford also returned from the injured list for Seattle on Tuesday and started at third base. He went 1 for 2 at the plate and drew two walks. Colt Emerson started at shortstop for Seattle.

"I missed it a lot, and it was a fun week getting back out there. I'm really excited just to get back to it, be with the guys, and get back in the thick of it." Raleigh said.

"Getting Cal back is huge. Having him behind the plate and active and ready to go is a huge lift, and J.P. coming back as well. I think we're excited to be back home and ready to play in front of the home folks." Wilson said.

Raleigh entered Tuesday's game with a .161 batting average, seven home runs, and 18 RBIs for the 2026 season. He hit .412 with five home runs and 12 RBIs during a five-game minor league rehab assignment. The Mariners currently hold a record of 38 wins and 36 losses, placing them in first place in the American League West division.
