CHATTANOOGA — Finley Stadium launched a six-seater shuttle service for guests with mobility challenges at stadium and pavilion events. The service debuted at the BlueCross Bowl in December alongside other accessibility-related guest service amenities.
Tennessee State Representative Greg A. Vital and Morning Pointe Senior Living sponsor the shuttle service. The shuttle is designated for guests with mobility challenges who require on-site transportation assistance to and from parking lots and throughout the campus. The shuttle has operated at every Finley Stadium event since December.
Brian Wright, Stadium Corporation Executive Director, said, "It's been a long-standing mission of ours to make sure all fans feel welcome, and that's only possible when we can meet the needs of every guest." Wright added, "We're grateful to community partners like Morning Pointe and leaders like Rep. Vital who not only share this vision, but help us make it a reality."
Vital said, "At Morning Pointe, we believe communities are strongest when everyone feels welcome and supported. Partnering with Finley Stadium and sponsoring the golf cart shuttle is a simple but meaningful way to enhance the experience for seniors and others who may need a little extra help getting around. We're excited to come alongside Finley Stadium in creating a more accessible, enjoyable environment for all who gather there."
As part of a campus accessibility project, the stadium installed additional automated external defibrillators. The stadium also added a Mother's Room and a Calming Corner, and Erlanger provided an updated First Aid Room. It received certification as a KultureCity Sensory Inclusive venue. Fans can request a shuttle ride by texting the Stadium Help Line at 423-830-2583.
