For the week of June 1, 2026, the highest-rated cable news network led basic cable networks in total primetime viewers and ranked second in the Adults 25-54 demographic.

The network averaged 2.3 million total viewers and 203,000 Adults 25-54 viewers during primetime, maintaining flat total viewers and increasing demo viewership by 11 percent compared to the prior week. In total day viewing, it averaged 1.432 million total viewers and 130,000 Adults 25-54 viewers, a 1 percent decrease in total viewers and flat demo performance.

Cable news networks extended coverage into Tuesday night and overnight hours due to primary elections in multiple states, including California. At 1 a.m. ET, the network recorded 156,000 Adults 25-54 viewers, rising to 174,000 at 2 a.m. ET.

Compared to the same period one year prior, the network decreased primetime total viewers by 3 percent and demo viewers by 21 percent. Total day viewers decreased by 2 percent, with demo viewers down 27 percent. It occupied 14 of the 15 highest-viewed cable news program slots for the week.

A nightly panel program ranked first with 3.345 million total viewers at 5 p.m. ET. A Monday evening talk program ranked eighth with 1.951 million total viewers. The network held 12 of the top 15 program slots in the Adults 25-54 demo.
